DEWALT stainless steel taping and putty knives are designed and manufactured using nearly 20 years of input from professional finishers. Our taping knives feature high-quality stainless steel blades for corrosion resistance as well as rigid anodized backplates that are wider and thicker than competitive models. Our joint knives feature a precision hollow-grind that provides proper flex point midway up the blades (versus near the handles) so the blades feel nicely “broken-in" from the first moment you use them.  Comfortable, anti-slip soft-grip handles minimize fatigue and are strengthened with glass-reinforced nylon cores. The knives also have metal hammer ends for resetting drywall nails.

WALT drywall finishing hand tools are sharp. Store them out of reach of children!
PLEASE NOTE - Unlike stainless steel, high carbon steel and blue steel blades will oxidize/rust without proper care between uses.
We recommend that these knives be cleaned thoroughly then lightly coated with WD-40 or a similar product.  The knives should also be stored upright while they are drying. Otherwise, we offer most of the same knife configurations with stainless steel blades for easier care and convenience.
